In-House Competitions 2024
Our In-House Competitions include:​

Finals Day - 7th September 2024
The weather forecast for Saturday wasn't looking very promising, while the forecast for Sunday looked even worse. Accordingly, we pulled the start time forward to 11:00 to make the most of the drier weather earlier in the afternoon and to provide a bit of contingency for 'shower breaks'.
​
The revised timetable for Finals Day, Saturday 7th September 2024, is shown below:

* 2 WoodPairs - Ruth & Stephen are the winners by default.
** Triples - Carl is not available to play. Under the rules of our competitions if a player is not available then the person, or one of the losing team, in the semi-final takes their place. Of the losing triple - Beryl / Elwyn / Pauline - Pauline’s name was drawn.

2 Wood Pairs - 11th May 2024
Our 2 Wood Pairs competition was played on Saturday, 11th May 2024 starting at 1pm.
​
The first two rounds will be over 15 ends; the semi-final will be over 18 ends; score 1 on the first two ends.
Men's Singles - 22nd June 2024

The draw for the Men's Singles to be played on Saturday, 22nd June 2024 is shown below. If the weather is inclement on Saturday, the competition may be delayed to Sunday, 23rd June 2024.

Ladies Singles - 20th July 2024
The draw for the Ladies Singles to be played on Saturday, 20th July 2024 is shown below. If the weather is inclement on Saturday, the competition may be delayed to Sunday, 21st July 2024.

Triples - 27th July 2024
The draw for the Triples to be played on Saturday, 27th July 2024 is shown below. If the weather is inclement on Saturday, the competition may be delayed to Sunday, 28th July 2024.

All rounds are 15 ends - 1 shot on the first 2 ends.

4 Wood Pairs - 17th August 2024
The draw for the 4 Wood Pairs to be played on Saturday, 17th August 2024 is shown below. The weather had better be good on Saturday as it is the Club Annual Sunday Lunch on the 18th August 2024.

Rounds 1 & 2 / quarter final are 15 ends; the semi-finals are 18 ends - 1 shot on the first 2 ends.​

Mixed Singles - 31st August 2024
This is an all-day, 4-wood singles competition beginning at 10.00 am.
The morning session will be played on a "pool basis" (6 pools) with everyone playing 4 - 6 matches (24 ends). The number in each pool may vary. Scoring will be straight in, with 3 points for a win 1 for a draw. In the event of points being equal in any pool, an extra end will be played between the players concerned.

The afternoon session will be on a knockout basis - 8 players (the pool winners plus the two highest runners-up). Matches are played over 8 ends, scoring 1 on the first two ends.
Tea & coffee will be available during the lunch break. Do bring your own lunch and make a day
of it even if you don't make it through the morning rounds into the afternoon.​
